Options Cinemas have revolutionized the cinema scene in Athens, Thessaloniki, and Patras, replacing old Odeon theaters with visionary plans including new IMAX screens and upgraded cinematic experiences. Media Planners took charge of building their online presence from scratch, crafting engaging content and executing targeted advertising strategies.
Our challenge was to increase the follower base on Options Cinemas’ newly established Instagram account. To achieve this, we proposed leveraging the 100th anniversary of Disney by organizing a major campaign and contest. The highlight was a collaboration with popular brand ambassador Sakis Tanimanidis, offering a grand prize of a €5,000 trip to Eurodisney.
Results
The collaboration with Disney’s milestone anniversary not only celebrated a century of enchantment but also positioned Options Cinemas as a vibrant destination for movie buffs and families. Through effective campaign management and strategic use of influencers, we successfully enhanced brand visibility, community engagement, and ticket sales performance.
The campaign surpassed expectations:
- 20,000 New Followers: The first contest resulted in a substantial increase in the Instagram follower count.
- Second Contest Success: Following the initial success, a second contest offering an electric Ami car as the prize attracted 50,000 new followers to the page.
- Brand Ambassador Impact: Sakis Tanimanidis’s endorsement played a pivotal role in driving community growth and engagement.
- Ticket Sales Advertising Success: Leveraging the momentum, our ticket sales advertising strategy achieved an impressive average ROAS of 1/10, further solidifying Options Cinemas’ market presence.
